Our children have been completely failed by our education system - it is no longer fit for purpose, and it should be of national embarressment that most of our young adults leave school not much wiser than when they started. We may rank high in some international league tables but they focus more on attendance rather than acedemic abilities, and this will get worse now that Labour have put private education completely out of reach for all but the richest of families - again, it's the poor that are being completely let down by the very government who promised they would support them!
Our planned changes include restricting the number of female teachers that a pupil has contact with throughout their school day. Pupils will have strong male teachers for all physical education lessons, as well as for practical lessons such as woodwork, metalwork, plumbing and electrical studies. It is well known (although seldom admitted) that young students respond better to a man who takes the lead, rather than a woman, and this is one of the reasons young men are struggling in life.
History will include the classics (Rome, Troy, etc), but British history will be the main focus - every pupil should know where they came from, the hardships their ancesters faced throughout our history. Extra lessons can be assigned if they wish to know the history of other countries, but it is not required.
Pupils will be required to show those younger than themselves the same respect they show their elders. Those in their final years will be assigned a newly started pupil for them to help guide and mentor throughout their first year at school. The reasoning behind this is that each year the level of education and skills passed down will eventually increase as each pupil becomes of age.
