The NHS is a burden on the tax-payer, unfortunately this is the price for a 'free' public service - a concept lost on so many at the moment. However, this burden can be lessened if it was run more efficiently. Salary caps will be introduced, unnecessary beaurocricy will be weeded out and stopped, politicians will no longer be allowed to own or have shares in any company that supplies to the NHS.
The NHS will become patient focused, and staff will once again enjoy their medical career instead of enduring it as they currently do.
Those who wish t work in the medical profession will enjoy free training throughout their career, at least until their 50th Birthday, as long as their new found skills are put to use in the UK of GB. If a medical professional moves abroad within 10 years of their training, or they decide to retire early, then they will need to repay the tuition fees.
